I’m sure just about everyone who has wagered texas hold em poker inside a place where they provide booze has had this experience at one time or another. Everyone at the table was truly nice with the exception of for Mr. I’m all in because I am intoxicated. He had such a bad mind-set and I felt like I was online playing in a freeroll for a second because he would just keep going all in. He would occasionally just call a bet. Just about every time he would just call, I understood he had a nasty hand.
So, when it was my turn to call, I would raise with my beneficial pocket pairs or my ace some thing. Each time he remained in the hand all the way to the river and then try to bluff. It was practically as if he sought to share his chips.
I wagered at that particular table for a minimum of three hours and I counted at least 4 times the man went to the Bank and came back with at least 200 dollars in chips. I would say I probably got at the very least half of what he brought to the table.
The following day, following I got house and added up my profits, I kind of felt poor for succeeding all that cash. But then again, that guy shouldn’t have been playing texas hold em poker while he was drunk!
A few men and women may say that if I’ve to question my behavior, then yeah, it probably was not the correct point to do. But, do I feel bad about it, not really.
My opinion on taking a drunken person’s money at the poker table is that if they are foolish enough to play even though drunk and is being reckless, then have at it!
