1 Plus 2 Equals 3: A Poker Competitor’s Value is Judged by Their Bottom Line

Some poker tactics will amaze you with their ease. This is one of them. Write down your results, every time you compete.

Church of hold’em Psalm #4:

You have to record your successes and your loses; for it is the grand total of all a mans accomplishments which create his or her bottom line.

How detailed is your decision. I tend to consider that hourly details and that kind of intimate detail is not needed. Basically work out how far ahead you are and what amount (if anything) you have taken out. Naturally, if you do not win, record that too, regardless of how much it it might pain you.

Do not neglect to record what type of poker you are wagering on, if that is critical to you. (In my experience, most players stick to what they know and do not try something they do not know. If all you note is winnings, down and withdrawals, you’re way in front of almost all players out there!)

Bestow on yourself realistic ambitions, like a ‘dream’ target (new vehicle, get-a-way or anything else). When you withdraw, add the dollars withdrawn to your dream tally. The greater the success you have, the nearer that dream will get!
